Who we are

The School of Stress is an initiative of stress sociologist Suzan Kuijsten.

Suzan is one of the most renowned stress sociologists in the Netherlands and is known for her in-depth knowledge of stress management in the workplace.

Suzan is a sought-after speaker, giving inspiring stress masterclasses at home and abroad. She is widely praised for her innovative perspective on stress. With events such as the week before stress, Stresstival, and the NK Stress, as well as her columns in Wendy Magazine, Suzan offers a different perspective.

Previously, Suzan served on the board of the International Stress Management Organization (ISMA), tasked with addressing the image problem of stress.

Suzan is also the bestselling author of the book “Crazy about Stress – but not always” and regularly appears in media outlets ranging from BNR, NPO Radio, and NRC to Jeugdjournaal (Children’s News) and Editie NL.

Stress is her passion. She never stops learning and is never tired of being amazed by the sublime solutions our stress system offers to cope with all the challenges and threats in life. This versatile stress sociologist offers a different perspective on stress.

Together with a team of other stress researchers, Suzan developed educational programs, training courses, and an in-company program. All this knowledge is now available through The School of Stress.
